Our Story
“Why did you tell us this?” our kids asked. They wondered how something that happened before they were born could possibly be relevant. Well, this is why we told them and why we are telling you: God has healed our marriage in a miraculous way, but not without hard work.
We want to bring hope to people, that their marriages can survive infidelity (or anything) if they surrender to the living God. Our marriage is stronger than it would have been had we not experienced the valley of the shadow of death, and we want to encourage others that theirs can too.

Truth is my passion, and over more than twenty years of teaching at a Christian high school, I was able to speak it to students daily. Bob and I now have the opportunity to speak truth into couples’ lives!
Having grown up in a Christian home, I was not prepared for the betrayal that happened early in our marriage (see Our Story on the landing page). God has brought us through “the valley of the shadow of death,” and He has been faithful to make order from our chaos and take us from Simply Surviving to Truly Thriving.
I was born in Germany while my dad was in the army. When we moved back to my parents’ home state of Louisiana, he joined the Navigator ministry which took our family around the nation until we settled in Colorado in 1978. At CSU, I met my husband, Bob, to whom I’ve been married since 1984. We have four adult, married children and three grandsons.

I’ve long had a passion to see men have a vibrant, growing relationship with God through Jesus Christ, guided by the Holy Spirit. My favorite author is Dr. Larry Crabb, and, besides the Bible, the most influential book in my life is The Silence of Adam, renamed Men of Courage.
My twenty-plus years of business ownership and thirty-plus years of ministry have shown me that men struggle to embrace conflict, which hinders their success. I inspire men to step into the chaos of relationships by finding their voice, taking responsibility, and demonstrating self-control.
Being born in Franklin, PA on April 15, 1960, Tax Day, sure was fun every year when my father spent the entire day, up to midnight, finishing his taxes! I lived there until I was 19 years old and then moved to Ft. Collins, Colorado to live with relatives while attending Colorado State University. I received a B.S. in Forest Management after six grueling years. There I met my wife, Enne, to whom I’ve been married since 1984. We have four adult, married children and three grandsons.
